Some M&M's ® Trivia 1941 - M&M's ® Chocolate Candies were first sold. They were sold to the military because they kept well in any climate. I'm sure you've heard the M&M's ® slogon which came later "They melt in your mouth not in your hands" 1948 - Before 48 they were sold in a tube. In 1948 their packaging changed to the bag we know today. 1981 - M&M's ® Chocolate Candies were on the first space shuttle 2004 - collectors got a big surprise. On the New Year's Eve Rockin' special Red and Yellow were partying with Dick Clark and the M&M's ® Chocolate Candies lost their color at midnight! 2005 M&M's ® have gone to the "dark side." For the first time in the M&M's® company history, M&M's ® Candies introduced a dark chocolate version. Just in time for the release of Star Wars Episode III. |
